Rain Gate Downspout Diverter
Rain Gate downpipe diverter is a simple way of redirecting the water collected from your roof to any area of your garden or lawn, top-up your pool or tank, by simply attaching the appropriate hose to the diverter outlet. In heavier downfalls an overflow system will direct the excess water through to stormwater drain. To shut-off the diversion simply remove your hose and replace end caps, water will then flow through the overflow down the downpipe to stormwater drain.
This diverter has a built in screen to filter out debris and also has a built in adaptor to fit 3” and 4” round downspout as well as 2” x3” and 3” x 4” downspouts.
Installation Instructions
1. Remove 340mm of downpipe from where the Rain Gate is to be
situated. Ensure all edges are clean and smooth.
2. Using snips remove a section of the top cap to fit the downpipe.
3. Fit the correct downpipe adaptor to the bottom of the Rain Gate.
4. Install the Rain Gate by sliding the unit up underneath the top section
of downpipe and then down into position until the downpipe adaptor
sits firmly in place on the bottom.
