• An air-filled ball suspends the floating inlet filter just below the water surface where the cleanest water resides. The filter is connected to a high quality flexible suction hose that is specially formulated to resist biological activity. The hose is 1” diameter and 6’ long.
• Filter is made out of lead-free brass with a 1.22 mm stainless steel screen and a built-in check valve.

• Green, 20” TUF-TITE lid seals to riser with molded-in lid gasket to assure a watertight seal every time. The lid is secured with eight stainless steel screws and a horizontal screw to assure safety. This is a strong lid that is very attractive.

• Water enters the storage tank through the 'calmed inlet'. The inlet prevents the disturbance and re-suspension of fine sediments that gather on the bottom of the tank. Another important function of the inlet is the introduction of oxygen into the lower layers of the tank which maintains a fresh supply of water while preventing anaerobic conditions from forming.

• The innovative overflow siphon creates a skimmer effect at the max tank level to remove particles that float slowly to the water surface. Removing this floating layer of surface pollutants through regular overflow from the tank is important in order to maintain high quality water. This overflow siphon also includes a rodent-proof mechanism

Above Ground Rain System With Pump

This system will work with any above ground tank.

The Above Ground System starts with the Leaf Eater UltraFilter. This filter sends clean water into a tank. A Leader Divertron X-1000 Submersible Pressure Pump is connected to an output assembly that has a ¾” brass male fitting for connecting a garden hose. The Divertron X-1000 series Leader Pumps have built-in integrated electronics designed to automatically start and stop the pump, providing inherent dry-run protection. These pumps are easy to install and use, highly reliable.

Above ground 305 Clean Rain complete system

Every piece you need to collect clean rain water with plenty of pumping power to put it where you need it.

The system starts with a Clean Rain Ultra downspout filter. This filter is very efficient and also works as a diverter, taking the overflow and putting it back to the downspout. The filter's compact inline Smart Sense First Flush Diverter diverts the first flush of rainwater containing contaminants from the roof to storm water - no additional chamber required. The filter also has a simple switch that bypasses the system making winterization as easy as it gets.

The filter to tank assembly is easy to install. Filter is connected to a 305 gallon Norwesco above ground water storage tank. Water will exit the tank through an output assembly that is designed for use with the Norwesco tanks. This assembly has a ball valve for turning outlet on and off, includes a quick disconnect for the 15’ x ¾” tank-to-pump hose included with kit. Kit also supplies fittings that connect a garden hose to the 1HP portable pump. This pump is very powerful, pumping 720GPH. Simply connect any length of garden hose and take your stored water where you need it.
